PRP/PRF Services

PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. PRP is obtained by drawing your own blood and separating the red blood cells from the plasma. The highly concentrated plasma is considered the PRP, which is full of the growth factors and nutrients your skin and hair follicles needs to heal.

PRF stands for platelet rich fibrin. PRF is similar to PRP in the way it is obtained. PRF in comparison to PRP is spun at a lower rate to help maintain more white blood cells in the plasma. This has a slow release of growth factors that can make it more beneficial throughout the healing process.

Natural Beauty

HOW DOES IT WORK

Using your bloods growth factors, PRP/PRF can help boost your collagen and elastin production to help heal your skin and give it a younger appearance. PRP/PRF helps tighten skin, diminish or get rid of scars, even skin tone, improve skin texture, diminish fine lines and improves skin hyperpigmentation. PRP & PRF can also be used for sexual health and wellness to help with erectile dysfunction, improve sensitivity, and vaginal dryness.

By drawing your blood, double spinning it, and removing the red blood cells, we obtain the platelet rich plasma necessary for your skin and hair treatments.

With age the hair follicle becomes dormant leading to hair thinning and hair loss. For both men and women PRP/PRF restoration treatments are beneficial. PRP/PRF helps rejuvenate the hair follicle leading to hair growth and strengthening. This treatment also helps lower high levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is also known to cause hair loss.

How is it injected?

Hair Restoration

After numbing the skin or scalp with BLT topical numbing cream the area is cleansed and prepared for treatment. Using a small 30-gauge needle, the PRP/PRF is injected into the scalp to help with hair restoration.

Face/Neck/Body

For face and neck, we use a microneedling machine. With the microneedling machine we create very small channels in your skin that will help absorb your PRP/PRF once applied to your skin.

When treating the undereye for dark circles, PRP/PRF is injected using a cannula. Cannulas are small metal devices that have a blunt tip compared to needles that have a sharp point. This technique mas this a safer procedure as it lessens the amount of trauma that occurs.

Erectile Dysfunction

Using the PRP/PRF that was obtained after drawing your blood, the penis will be numbed using topical numbing cream and by performing nerve blocks using lidocaine with epinephrine through small injections. This will allow the procedure to have minimal to no discomfort. Once the area has been numbed, the injections will be performed in the shaft and gland of the penis. The injection procedure takes approximately minutes once the area has been numbed. After the injections have been completed, the patient will receive a penis pump to help with blood flow after the injections. This pump will be given to the patient for at home continued care.

Hair Restoration

After being treated with PRP/PRF, you must keep the solution applied for a minimum of 6 hours before washing face or hair. The day after the treatment you will not be allowed to use shampoo to wash your hair only warm water.

Face/Neck/Body

The day of the treatment you are not allowed to use face wash or body wash when cleaning the area. Washing with warm water and patting dry is recommended. Because you have small openings in your skin after treatment, it is recommended to not use skin products like make-up or hair products for 24-hours. Do not exfoliate for a week to help prevent irritation. Avoid being out in the sun for long hours for the first 2 days after your treatment. Use daily sunscreen.

PRP Erectile Dysfunction

After your procedure has been completed, you are to use the penis pump twice daily for 20 minutes each time. Using the pump and holding the erection for 30 seconds and then releasing the suction. You are to avoid getting in open water such as pools, lakes, rivers, or ocean for 1 week after your procedure to avoid infection. Avoiding intercourse for 2 days to prevent infection is also recommended. If after the two days you have intercourse, this will count as one of the two sessions you are to perform with the pump as you are obtaining and holding an erection. If you did not hold an erection during intercourse for 20 minutes, complete the 20 minutes using the pump as directed above. The penis pump is recommended to be used daily for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure. The pump can be used longer as there is research that it aids with erectile dysfunction when used alone.
