Botox & Dysport
Neuromodulators available at the clinic include Botox and Dysport. They work by blocking the release and the effects of acetylcholine (Ach), which in return prevent muscle contraction. This helps soften the appearance of wrinkles and also helps soften the contraction of muscles to help with other disorders such as TJM pain from excessive clenching or teeth grinding and also to help relieve migraines. Neuromodulators can also help with hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) from palm of hands and underarms (armpits).

How many units of Botox or Dysport will I need?
The number of units is decided upon assessment. Because every treatment is tailored to your needs, the number of units used per area is not a standard number for every patient. Some patients have stronger muscles than others and some patients will want a more subtle results while others may want no movement.
