How often is it recommended to get a microneedling treatment?
After assessing your skin, the number of sessions needed will be determined. A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended for more damaged skin with concerns. Each session is done 4-6 weeks apart from one another. For someone looking to maintain their skin results and youthful appearance, one session every 6 months is recommended.

Before and after care?
Before scheduling a microneedling procedure, you must understand that that if you have active acne you cannot be treated with microneedling as this can spread bacteria when there is acne present. Avoiding retinols for a week before and after treatment is recommended to prevent skin irritation.
After your microneedling treatment, it is common to see redness of your skin for up to a week. The best way to describe how your skin appears is like a “light sunburn”. Avoiding skin direct sun exposure, exfoliation, waxing, and the use of retinol for a week after treatment is recommended to help prevent skin irritation.
